Some of his favorite video game franchises of all time include Sonic The Hedgehog, NieR, Uncharted, Super Mario, Mega Man, The Legend of Zelda, Dark Souls, and Super Smash Bros. James is a recent college graduate of William Paterson University for Broadcast Journalism and he is excited to utilize his skills as a features writer for Screen Rant.

James resides in New Jersey which isn't as bad of a state contrary to what you might hear. During his time at the con, he had the opportunity to meet various developers and industry icons. He also had the privilege of attending Pax East 2022 for the company as a content creator. There he primarily covers mobile games such as Dragon Ball Legends, which he may or may not have an unhealthy addiction to. Although Valhalla received a release date, Anno 1800 and Roller Champions did not.Since 2020, James has been uploading content about gaming through a YouTube channel called 59 Gaming as a writer and content creator under the alias Ironcane. Other games coming to Steam includes Anno 1800 as well as Roller Champions. This will be the first of many games coming to Steam alongside Ubisoft.

This actually coincides with the release of Valhalla’s last content update: The Last Chapter. The first Ubisoft game in a while (not including DLCs) to come to Steam is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which comes out on December 6, 2022. That comes to an end, as Ubisoft confirmed that they are coming back to Steam. These games were not available on Steam on release, meaning players who wanted to play them had to go through the two stores. The list also includes the aforementioned Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. This includes games like The Division 2, Far Cry 6, Watch Dogs Legion, and Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Since 2019, Ubisoft has been publishing its games on its own store, as well as the Epic Game Store. After years of not publishing games on Steam, it would appear that Ubisoft is finally coming back, with their return game being Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
